ne-deja-vu

Celebrity postings are a departure for me. Although there seems to be plenty, the purpose other than SEO clicks, is unclear.  However, Oprah is entirely another subject altogether. Her positive and inspirational impact is felt far and wide.

At 55 and not slowing down, Oprah is the epidame of the Ne-deja-vu attitude. She puts herself out there everyday and makes it clear, she expects more of herself than she would ever ask of another. Genuine and straightforward, she steps into the limelight without hesitation.

The recent issues of the battle she wages with her weight, bears remarking only in that her status as a celebrity saves her not from the same struggle as millions of others. And she is willing to share how emotionally devastating it can be to anyone.  Today’s photo and headline asked the question, “Does she look her age”? Well, she’s a total class act! I only wished I could look that amazing at 55 and had her strength of character, her bravery or her boundless compassion.

If she wouldn’t mind one more award, it would be my honor to bestow the award of “Ne-deja-vu Celebrity of the Month” on Oprah Winfrey.
